Exploring Interactions in Online Distance Learning (ODL): The Case for Islamic Studies

Since the pandemic outbreak, online has been new norm for students and lecturers. This teaching learning method involves adapting virtual delivery access by optimizing use of various applications mediums, including Islamic studies. study aims to find learners' perceptions in studies regarding learner-to-instructor, learner-to-learner, learner-to-content interactions. The methodology used this is a quantitative with survey questionnaires are distributed randomly among enrolling Studies course from public universities, involving 409 respondents. data were descriptively analysed using percentages mean scores identify learners their sessions. covers three sections significant interactions learning: learner-to-learner learner-to-content. findings show that highest followed lowest section. most effective interaction lecturer-student relation. perception contents shows lessons, specifically must be provided creatively interactively meet students’ needs. research highlighted role instructors delivering knowledge best way approaches ensure effectiveness throughout lessons. Learners have an active attitude empower knowledge. In conclusion, should as guidelines enhance quality pedagogy Studies. suggests future about face-to-face another field.
